Some Gateway monitor models feature a theft deterrent service called GatewayShield. If the monitor is disconnected from your computer and then connected to a different computer, GatewayShield displays a protection message and prevents the monitor from working on the new machine. This feature is useful, but when you run a business, you want the monitor to work with any computer in your office. You can disable GatewayShield in EzTune, the management software included with your monitor.
